I'm Getting Married!

What if I told you I've decided I'm getting married again! Only this time I'm already married and I'm buying everything on my bridal registry! Yes, that's what the last couple of days have felt like. What am I talking about? This is what I'm talking about!⤵️

With the fact that we are re-doing our master bedroom and I am updating a lot of kitchen "stuff", I have been having way more fun than anyone should be allowed to have! I have been putting things in my cart like it's my day job (and right now I like to think it is!). I've also been checking out the Early Bird sales as well!

I may be aging myself here a little bit, but 'back' in the day, we used to have to go to a department store and register for our wedding. It wasn't even a thing yet to register at more than one store. Then people started registering at more than one store and that escalated to now online registries. NO FAIR! That is why I am telling myself (and you) that I am getting married again. To the same wonderful man of course...in a private ceremony with no guests and no officiant, but you get the picture. 😉 31 years ago when I registered, if someone wanted to buy us something, they would have to go into the store, ask for the registry, get a LONG copy and walk around the store looking for whatever they wanted to buy. It was then paid for and they could even have it shipped. Items that were shipped went to my mom's house and it felt like everyday was Christmas. I never knew what was coming or who it was bought by, but it always had the box labeled with McAlpins, the store we registered from. And starting this week, as I continuously checkout out (making runs to the bank to deposit money!) I will be receiving what feels like a bridal registry of fun stuff! Only this time, WE didn't make the registry, just me! But don't worry, I am ALWAYS looking out for good deals for Bill. Even when I garage sale I'm always looking out for him.

For many, this could be a wonderful time to do some early Christmas shopping especially if you know what some of your favorite people want and/or need. And like I said, there are many AND I MEAN MANY early bird sales going on. Way too many to list and honestly, unless you have a BOAT LOAD of time, way to many to browse. And the sales change. Some are only good for an hour or two. So again, if you have a lot of time to play around and watch, it could really be a good (and expensive) time!

I introduced you to that tab in my last post, but I have obviously added way more items to it since then. The tab is broken down into categories for you to see room by room of items and give you an idea of my style and taste. You have to remember, most of my decorating comes from yard/garage/estate sales, so I don't want you to think I only have two pieces of decor in my bedroom for example 😂 And not everything is decor related that I have posted. And no, not everything I have posted I bought today! These are items I have purchase and have loved. I'm not an Amazon Influencer, I'm just someone who wants to inspire... Inspire ideas, projects, all the things that keep you close to your authentic self...

I will say, I did take advantage of one of the early bird deals and bought a couple of these.
